In a training session today on successfully overcoming objections in client calls – we had a discussion about how we can care too much.
How a client reacts to our call in the first few seconds often dictates how we feel about that call. And we know it can go downhill from there as we abort the call in panic.
I describe what to do to fight this “fear” is to imagine you are putting on your armour.
Your armour is all your previous placements, your wins, the clients you won round, the candidates who love working with you.
If you don’t have that type of armour- try this one for size- you are doing what you need to do, to do a good job.
They might not want it now. They might not like it. And that’s ok.
How they respond to that is up to them.
But YOU know you’ve done it well.
