Jo Major
Jo has a twenty-year+ career in the recruitment space behind her. She has developed strategic DE&I training programmes that build and evolve recruitment & hiring cultures, engage employees, attract underrepresented talent, improve the candidate experience and make businesses better workplaces.
Jo founded Diversity in Recruitment because of her drive to get DE&I on the agenda of recruitment teams and hiring managers, as she believes they can influence and lead real change. Her work helps those involved in the recruitment process get to grips with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Through training and advice, she gives them the insight, tools, and confidence to attract diverse talent, recruit inclusively, and make their processes equitable and accessible.

Vanessa Raath
Vanessa is globally renowned for her contributions to the international Sourcing Community. She has delivered Keynotes across three continents and has trained teams based from Auckland to Seattle.
Vanessa launched her Talent Sourcing Training business in early 2019 and has not looked back. She is a qualified teacher with experience in both agency recruiting and internal talent acquisition (she loved both roles!). She now gets to combine her love of empowering others to do better, with her passion for recruiting through her own Online Academy.
She loves it when her training delegates experience that ‘light bulb’ moment as she knows that she has just changed someone’s career, for the better.
When Vanessa is not doing research for her training, recording content or delivering a Keynote, you can find her at the Beach or in the South African Bushveld, taking photographs.
Joanna Oakley
Joanna launched Argylestone Consulting in 2022 after 20+ years in the recruitment Industry gained across 3 of the top 5 global staffing brands.
Previously COO, Joanna helps recruitment firms improve operational efficiencies, productivity through the successful implementation and management of change and transformation programmes.
Whether implementing new technology systems, launching new service offerings (such as MSP & RPO), or identifying improvements across sales, compliance or contracts functions Joanna has successfully helped a number of organisations, identify cost savings, improve client and candidate experiences, enhance service offerings as well as implement various technology solutions into their businesses, to gain better insight and efficiency from day to day activity, reduce their administrative burden and increase GP.
Joanna has experience of implementing a number Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) as well as CRM systems which include Bullhorn and Vincere as well as automation tools.
