Is it important to you? I’d be surprised if it wasn’t. But happiness at work looks different now doesn’t it?
I shared this article a few weeks ago as I wanted to prompt a discussion about communication.
This time I want to pick up on what Mo says about happiness and it’s correlation to productivity.
“There are studies that say happy people are 12 per cent more productive than those who are not, and they are more engaged. If you think about it that way, employee happiness can have either a 12 per cent upside or downside on your revenue. And happy environments lead to innovation and higher performance.”
Are we moving away from office ping pong and lunch clubs? Are we going to actually ask what recruiters want and need to keep them engaged and hard working? Especially if they are working remotely most of the time.
What about the more experienced recruiters who might be motivated to earn for different reasons and not just by the fancy dinner- and does that even count now we can’t go out after 10pm? 😫
What would make you happy at work? Or rather, what will engage you and motivate you – wherever you are working?
